For more than a decade, Erika has been active in movements to change Chicago and beyond. She’s helped statewide efforts to protect our public colleges and universities. She’s demanded accountability and reform in City Hall’s use of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) dollars. She’s been on the frontlines of the fight for expanded voting rights, and worked to elect Assessor Fritz Kaegi and end corruption in our property tax assessment system. dollars.
